Join us for an exclusive, guided exploration of one of Europe's most captivating and misunderstood wine nations. With over 250 indigenous grape varieties found nowhere else on earth, Portugal is a vinous treasure trove unlike any other. In this intimate class, we will journey through the country's most celebrated regions, from the lush, granite-studded northwest to the sun-drenched valleys that gave birth to one of the world's most iconic fortified wines.
The Experience
Albariño & the Northwest: We open in the verdant Vinho Verde region, where Atlantic breezes and granite soils shape the bright, aromatic character of Portugal's beloved Albariño.
Touriga Nacional & the Dão: Meet the king of Portuguese red grapes. Grown at elevation in the Dão's ancient schist and granite terroir, Touriga Nacional delivers layers of violet, dark fruit, and remarkable structure.
Alicante Reds: Bold, full-bodied, and deeply expressive, these reds showcase the power and warmth of Portugal's sun-soaked interior.
Classic Port: We close with the wine that made Portugal famous. Rich, complex, and steeped in centuries of tradition, Port is the perfect final chapter to our journey.
Artisanal Pairing: Each pour is accompanied by a curated selection of cheeses selected to complement and elevate every wine in the flight.
