See Happy Hour →A Wine Bar Near Nesconset
Nesconset is a short run south of us, close enough that coming here does not have to be a plan. Under ten minutes, three miles, and no highway at either end of the evening.
Which makes this the sort of place you can treat as a regular rather than a reservation: a glass and a plate at the bar on a Wednesday, happy hour when the week has been long, or the whole thing packed up and taken home when nobody feels like going out at all.
Bar seats are first come, first served. Two people, one plate, a glass each, home by nine if that is the evening you wanted.
Reservations →Order ahead for pickup and it will be waiting under your name. The same plates, the same kitchen, your own table.
Order Online →Enology Rewards runs quietly in the background, in the room or on a pickup order, with fifty points the moment you join.

Somewhere to Turn Up
A wine bar earns its keep on the ordinary nights, not the special ones.
Anniversaries take care of themselves. What is harder to find is a room worth ten minutes on a Wednesday, where you can order two plates instead of two entrees, drink one glass of something good rather than a bottle of something safe, and not feel you have made an event of it. The bar is there for exactly that, no booking required. And on the nights even ten minutes is too far, the kitchen packs the same food up for you to collect.

How far is Enology from Nesconset?
Under ten minutes. We are at 412 N Country Road in Saint James, a little over three miles north.
Can two of us just turn up?
Yes. The bar is first come, first served, and it is a good seat for a glass and a plate. Tables are worth booking, especially Friday and Saturday.
What are your hours?
Tuesday through Thursday, 5 to 9. Friday and Saturday, 5 to 10. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Can I order food to take home?
Yes. Our ordering page carries the plates and shares, add-ons and sweets, with a selection from the bar and cellar, ready for pickup at the restaurant.
Is there outdoor seating?
Our front patio is open through the warm months, weather permitting, with heaters at either end of the season. Patio tables cannot be guaranteed in advance, so mention it when you book.
