A Saturday Afternoon with Catena
Six wines from the high vineyards of Mendoza, just in time for the holidays.
Catena is the family that showed the world what Argentine Malbec can be, by planting it higher in the Andes than anyone thought sensible.
Join us for a guided afternoon with Lindsay Gulics of Winebow, who will walk us through six Catena wines and the story behind them, from the family's history in Mendoza to the Adrianna Vineyard, planted at nearly 5,000 feet in the Uco Valley. The tasting includes Adrianna Vineyard River Stones Malbec, one of the most celebrated wines in South America.
$69 per guest, with a sparkling welcome, six pours and light bites. Wines from the tasting will be available to order at special pricing for the holidays.
Altitude in the glass.
Mendoza, up high
Why altitude matters: cool nights, intense sun and stony soils, and how they shape wines with freshness as well as depth.
Six pours
A sparkling welcome, then six Catena wines tasted side by side, finishing with Adrianna Vineyard River Stones Malbec.
Bottles to bring home
Every wine poured will be available to order at special event pricing, a simple way to take care of holiday tables and gifts.
